Rycauñ is a fragrance brand founded by J Zeetzdanielsen, a retiree with a vision to leave a lasting legacy for his family.
Driven by a passion for luxury and quality, J Zeetzdanielsen set out to create a unique and luxurious fragrance. The inception of Rycauñ’s signature scent began when J Zeetzdanielsen wore his original blend to an event, receiving numerous compliments for its captivating aroma. Motivated by this positive feedback, J Zeetzdanielsen refined the blend, perfecting it before launching it under the Rycauñ brand.
Building on the success of his fragrance, J Zeetzdanielsen expanded the product line by developing a scented lotion that carries the same luxurious and captivating essence. With the collaborative efforts of his sons, J Zeetzdanielsen is dedicated to offering a range of high-quality products that embody his family’s legacy and commitment to excellence.

Our Vision
The Founder
My fragrance journey originally started with classic men’s scents like Kouros, Drakkar, Quorum, and the like. As life evolved with family, work, and home life, my wife became an avid fragrance collector—she had everything and was truly amazing. During that time, I had a few favorites: Spicebomb, Pure Malt, The One, and L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme. These got used up quickly after a difficult diagnosis and surgery.
Later, my eldest introduced me to Sauvage, which reignited my passion for fragrances. Now, I’m on the hunt for something different—potent, long-lasting scents with great projection, the kind that command a room.
